Task management in KiboERP goes far beyond a to-do list. Each task is a rich object that centralises everything needed to get the work done.

Sub-tasks and hierarchy

A task can contain multiple levels of sub-tasks. A parent task's progress is automatically calculated from the completion of its children. This hierarchy lets you plan complex deliverables without losing the big picture.

Priorities and deadlines

Every task carries a visual priority (red critical, orange high, blue normal, grey low). Overdue deadlines trigger an alert in the assignee's dashboard and a notification reminder. Managers receive a daily digest of late tasks across their projects.

Dependencies and automations

Define finish-to-start relationships between tasks to model your real workflow. When task A is marked done, task B automatically moves to "To Do" and notifies its assignee. These micro-automations eliminate manual hand-offs between team members.

Kanban, list, calendar, timeline — work your way

Kanban view

The Kanban view displays tasks as draggable cards in columns. Default columns are To Do, In Progress, In Review, Done — but each project can define its own business statuses (Quote Sent, Client Approval, Delivered…). Cards show the assignee avatar, priority, deadline and unread comment count.

List view

List view enables multi-criteria sorting (priority, deadline, assignee, sprint, milestone) and advanced filtering. It is ideal for sprint reviews and exporting to progress reports.

Calendar view

Calendar view places each task on its due date. It reveals workload peaks and competing deadlines at a glance. Click any task to edit it without leaving the calendar.

Timeline view (Gantt-like)

The timeline displays tasks and milestones on a time axis with dependencies shown as arrows. Perfect for kick-off meetings and client presentations — exportable as an image.

Real-time collaboration
